The have a lower brain to body ratio than Homo sapiens. That metric pretty much holds true across the animal kingdom so they were probably atleast a little bit dumber.

Weird thing to say about the company that will be the definitive LLM once Pro 1.5 is available with its million tokens. I can’t even imagine what ultra 1.5 will bring.

Could be, it is open air for atleast an hour or two so it could be either, especially since I faintly smell alcohol sometimes. Does adding salt always mean lacto bacillus?

Wait, does yeast break down capsaicin? That doesn’t make sense to me since I make a lot of extremely spicy fermented, hot sauces, and they don’t lose their heat.

It’s not condemned, it’s knowing your abilities and place. It doesn’t have to be a lower quality life by any means. If you want to look up to unexceptional people, you’ve already lost.

Unexceptional=the rest of us have plenty to contribute to society, but not nearly on par with someone exceptional. Some people are better than the rest given the current paradigm defined by our society.

Eh I’d rather have large ivy leagues use their endowments. I like the direction they’re heading in and would want them to continue doing what they do so well.

I feel it’s a little more than that. The right have never accepted feminized men and trans is taking it to its furthest conclusion. I genuinely believe the right doesn’t care about manly men fucking each other.

At India’s PPP of 3.5 vs the dollar, that would be equivalent to 100k a year for all 1.4 billion people.

Hijras are firmly men. They’ve been around forever but no one says they are women, just men dressed up as women. They have their own specific niche is society.

The trans thing is the deal breaker when it comes to the right. We never saw massive resistance to gay anything for the last decade or so.

If the prevailing notion is Bob is playing dress up as a woman I don’t think there would ever be a problem with the right. The left would never agree with that.

Political influence isn’t going to align if two sides of the country are irrevocably misaligned on some fundamentals (racism, LGBT etc.). There’s no middle ground (mainly LGBT) on these issues so it’s going to have to come down to a pseudo

Because selling off your land is probably the worst thing you could do. It’s about as short term as short term thinking gets. I’m not well versed in this area but I’m sure Russia regrets its sale of Alaska.

The PPP adjusted value within India is 3.5 versus the dollar in the US so the per capita GDP for India is closer to $12,000 per citizen, not all that far away from chinas’s $17,000.

I mean India went from 11th to 5th largest economy in the span of a decade and it continues to grow consistently at around 7%. It has pulled 400 million people out of poverty in the last 10 years so it is a part of the story.

Being a cop is a high paying, low barrier to entry position. If cops quit because they want to stand in support of a convicted murderer then they definitely don’t belong in the force. Morale has nothing to do with doing your job, that sorry
