This is great (and I'm glad you are doing something practical to help), but I was wondering if you have reached out to Maya's family to see if this tool you are building will fit their particular needs? I remember reading that they tried ou

I couldn't find any mention of ICANN or control over DNS in any of the leaked documents I looked through. It seems like the article authors or the leakers are "reading between the lines" but I'd be happier to have a link and a reference nu

I agree with the need for discussions like this to take place in the open so that people can be informed about what their representatives in government are discussing. International treaties are very important. However, both this article an

You got incorrect info, non-Retina Macbook Pros have upgradeable memory and you can already buy it from suppliers like Crucial and OWC.

Yeah, the Macbook Airs have done that from the very start. Not sure about how widespread it is overall but both Sony's Vaio Custom Z and the ASUS Zenbook Prime have fixed non-upgradeable RAM.

I don't think it's quite as stark as you say. This is a transition product just like the original Macbook Air was, which incidentally also looked like an odd duck compared to the clarity of having Macbook and Macbook Pro lines. It's likely

They are fooling themselves if they think the Office bundle justifies the price. The rationale for the Office bundle should be to give an initial boost to an unproven platform and overcome the scarcity of Windows RT apps.

Anandtech says that the resolutions are actually calculated at double the resolution and then scaled down, so if you pick 1920x1200, the GPU actually calculates 3840x2400 and then scales it down to 2880x1800. The results apparently are fair

To be a bit more accurate, Schmeiser's Canola field was contaminated by his neighbour's plants. Schmeiser saved the seed and mixed it with his own hybrid, so his own plants inherited the Roundup Ready gene from the contaminated seed.
