I meant what I said. There are people who care in every mega corp you can find. But they are trapped by that same consumption culture. And unable to do jack. In a way they have become replaceable cogs of a giant machine they created.

The cause is 30-40 years of a mindless consumption culture. It has given us growth but at a price. The good news is we it seems to be hitting it limits. And that's when things change. For the better.

I don't like Sapiens. In a complex world the time it takes for an average second grader to become a subject matter expert is about 30 years. And it's increasing not decreasing. Reading Sapiens will make you feel and sound like you
