For reference, the ranking used by the author is from US News & World Report[1]. While it's far from objective, it certainly holds enough merit such that UC Davis being the last school you would attend for CS sounds ridiculous. [

The idea is that no single company or entity will be able to predict in the future what users need. Email is old, but it's far from perfect. I think a platform that lets developers today leverage their expertise on modern protocol tech
