Yeah, it is probably helpful to be aware, that quite often the person you are complaining to, knows the flaws of the system way better than you, but is equally powerless to change anything about it. But sometimes they can do something tha

In case I was missunderstood: it won't be the problem to use ceramic, compared to making mass produced room temperatur superconductors. This will be hard either way, if currently no other lab can even reproduce it.

Only some applications require flexible cables. All of "my" use cases should be fine with using ceramics. I really don't think this will be the problem ...

If it would be reliable working at milliamps, I am sure it can be put to practical use in my sci fi scenarios eventually (1000 cables with 1 milliamps each should add up to 1 amp?). Of course, unless it all just is a quirky side effect, tha

Well, it is also about intention yes, but my point was just that people do not like to be treated as children (especially when they are acting as such). To reach them, I first have to respect their choices.

After trying to optimize my laptops energy settings under linux, I once also ended up with a device that was operating low level autonomously for some time. It just would not accept commands from me, nor the power button, nor anything else.

A device that is acting as a brick cannot receive commands and is not useful at all. That is the current status of voyager 2. "Unbricking" will hopefully work automatically, because there is no other option. But that can also fail
