I do all my programming in Source Insight and it lets you switch between monospaced and proportional fonts with a keystroke. I find it easier to read code in proportional mode but find editing is best done in monospace mode. I don't want to

/me raises a me-too-hand. If I can't read it in Reeder I properly wont read it at all. I don't know (or care) if it's a slow and outdated technology as it seems to work okay for me. It doesn't benefit me at all if RSS disappears and is rep

Did the term "floppy" really come from the 5.25"? I seem to remember that the 8" disk drive was almost impossible to insert without a third hand as support. I just had a look around the office and we still have a number of instruments (osci

I guess it depends on where you live. I'm in Europe and in my part of the world public radio is pretty good and without ads. I can't stand radio stations that airs ads every few minutes or just have mindless jingles. At my old job we had a

I've used BASIC quite a bit on the C64 as a prototype tool. Everything ran so slowly that even the slightest performance gain in my algorithms where noticeable with the naked eye. So when my demos where coded in assembly I knew which algor
