I personally use both Akka and LanguageExt together. The higher order type features, monadic operators and types such as Optional and Either are useful for any project

We use Azure. In some aspects they're playing catch up but if you're a startup and can get into their bizspark program, there are a lot of benefits. They are also making a significant effort to open their platform to Linux, Docker

I would disagree with that assertion. My internship proved to be extremely valuable to the company. An intern was actually a pretty important part of our culture. It allows higher risk R&D or to get things done which bypass the normal,

Maybe it is because of workplace and hiring culture. Perhaps the states weights social media higher in their hiring decisions and hence people are more reluctant to express themselves in fear that this might cost them a future job
