I'm aware of the civil trial, but it was even clear in the criminal trial he murdered his wife. Between the blood on everything he owned, the car chase, the domestic abuse calls etc. He was acquitted by the jury due to racial tensions.

So since OJ got off you assume everyone acquitted may still be guilty? That's a great system you got there.

Asserting one's opinion is speculating. Personally I don't see how you can say he knew it to be false given his reputation as a conspiracy theorist. You can't both think he is crazy and think that he knew it to be false, that

Platform !== app (though platforms can have bundled apps) Browsers started as a document reader app, now they are deploy platforms as well. You need to develop apps with functionality for either OS or web platforms, or both.

They are more of a platform as you need web sites / apps for it to be useful. Similar to how you need programs for the OS platform to be useful. Things you deploy to are platforms (web, windows, macos, etc.), the things being deployed

GPs tweet is from a few days ago, the one you linked is from June and was speculation about what Google will do. Eich later in the thread you linked said this: https://twitter.com/BrendanEich/status/153490577963066

So GP would be justified in preferring the FOSS solution if it meets their technical requirements vs the commercial OSS solution because at one point they could be the only option and abuse that network effect / monopoly. My point was

Redis is pretty easy to distribute out of the box. And most likely you'll want a simple k/v distributed cache for other things so it's no extra work.
