At my university (Chalmers University of Technology) Haskell is one of the first courses comp.sci students take to get introduced to programming. Haskell is immensely popular there with a lot of software engineering & comp.sci students

Does that actually work? If so I suppose it would be quite easy to port to other browsers.

We've been trying the Rancher as our kubernetes management interface, looks promising but we're still in a very early stage of usage.

As a Sweden .se is the de-facto domain for everything specific to Sweden. I.e. see http://sweden.com/ vs http://sweden.se/ Or http://www.skatteverket.se/ vs http://www.skatteverk

But so are domains, just with a suffix instead of a prefix. You oughta think a .com domain is more suitable for a commercial entity then for a government/state department.

To be honest at least in this case it’s probably worth it. It great to have something delivered so we don’t waste enormous energy on building features no one ends up wanting.

A company that doesn't pay it's engineers to think is surely doomed from achieving any significant innovation. Doesn't seem like viable strategy at all, I'd run the other way if I were approach by such a company.

I've worked on a couple codebases approaching that a few hundred k. But at that point we've usually done major refactor, usually resulting in a codebase with a level of magnitude less lines. I'm not saying exceeding 500k line

That sounds like a helleva large codebase, especially for Python. What did the application do? How large was the dev team?

Oh yes I've been looking for the same thing. Would like something I could connect a keyboard to and attach a tmux session. Would be a great work machine outside during summer time.

This is super nice, would love to have a tablet like this in the future. Have been experimenting a little bit with my Kobo Glo HD which also got a browser but nowhere close to this.

It seems like a large part of the problem is the authority we put into seemingly random information on the internet. People tend to not put the same sort of trust into banter on the street. We need to make the general public more critical t

With delete seems exotic, doesn’t it get confusing? I use caps-lock for escape. It’s really nice but whenever I use a coworkers computer I find myself suddenly writing with caps-lock on even though I’m the only vi-user at the office.

Interesting, haven’t run IPSec under Linux, is this expected performance? Seems rather low compared to what I’ve experienced under FreeBSD. An i7 Ivy Bride & Broadwell and should be aleast comparable to my almost decade old Nehalem-EP X

Yeah that’s my experience as well. That’s why I wanted a comparison. My router at home easily handles gigabit over IPSec even though the CPU is at least 8 years old.

I still use a Mac Pro tower at home. Put a Sandy Bridge CPU, 32GB ram and SSDs in raid, still runs great today.

Is there by any chance a speed comparison against IPSec (IKEv2) i.e. strongSwan with AES-NI? I haven’t used OpenVPN in many years, so such a comparison would be much more interesting.
