Their Calendar is exactly like any other caldav icalendar, works fine on iOS and any other platform using the calendar standard protocol. Been using Zoho for many years, switched from my free grandfathered Google Apps account to Zoho around

There’s a PEP suggested for 3.11 handling this https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0671/

Actually for further anecdata I’ve dropped several of my MacBook Pros (unibody) from a meter or more, one open from a ladder bumping pretty hard to a few of the bottom steps. And I’ve never gotten more then scratches and bumps in the casing

There's a really nice (although old now) walk through of the cpython code base on YouTube. I watched it on a long 24 hour flight between Canada and Sweden a couple of years back. Edit: Found it! You're in for about 9 hours of qual

Of you hide it well enough? I can think of some creative spots in a car, like behind the dash, in the door, inside of the a seat, etc.

Nuitka is a wonderful project which in my opinion doesn't get enough attention. I first found it back in 2015 when I worked at a company where we built a python based desktop application as a part of our industrial control system. Nuit

I don't buy it. Sounds like FUD to me. These neither of these arguments apply specifically to docker registries and are more an argument against any form of self-hosting, which is a totally different conversation. Having to rebuild if

Why not self-host the registry? I do it and have done it at quite a few places. It’s really nice to have it in the same network as the consuming servers to get great speeds.

I tried it about a year back and it was missing to much back then to be usable day to day for me. Took a look again now and it does look like there’s a lot of improvements, will have to give it another go.

A strongly typed dynamic language will raise an type error if you for instance try to add two incompatible types, for instance in python Python 3.9.0 (default, Oct 10 2020, 11:40:52) [Clang 11.0.3 (clang-1103.0.32.62)] on darwin Typ

Neat guide but I'd much rather see a guide on how to set up a cost-effective 10Gbps WAN to LAN throughput router/gateway with NAT. Those of us building our own routers (I've done so since about 2006 when I got 1Gbps fibre ins

I’m going to steal this one, I’ve never thought about this. Also useful for local development with mdns. E.g. MacBook-X.local as an CNAME: "MacBook-X.internal.hultner.se CNAME MacBook-X.local" should just work for LE on my local d

That looks really nice, bookmarked for later. In general I agree with the previous commenter, Let’s Encrypt made TLS easy on the public net, but for small teams/organizations TLS in local networks with local host names is still a pain

In my case it was either 1G or 10G (no in-between), price difference between 1 and 10 wasn't huge, most of the cost was installing the actual fibre optics in the house.

What do you use for a router? I've got 10G (price difference from 1G was even less percentage then yours) internet myself but currently just use an RB4110 as router which is the primary bottle neck. Would be nice with something reasona

I’m not sure if it was “invented” by the author, I’ve been doing the same knot for 30 years. We call it rå-bands-knop (raw-strings-knot would be a literal translation) and I believe most kids here learn it at an early age.
