That’s actually a great idea. Now I only need to do it and resist the urge to add documentation, make it open source, implement features that other people want etc etc!

I have an M1 with fan but have only heard it once. Most of the time it’s off. In reviews online the air also doesn’t quickly throttle.

I was also thinking about how quickly AI may progress and am curious for your or other people's thoughts. When estimating AI progress, estimating orders of magnitude sounds like the most plausible way to do it, just like Moore's l

So last month Germany was mentioned in multiple articles as being in a terrible production decline and now it’s suddenly the opposite? I guess the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

How big are your apps? Wouldn’t the most simple and reliable way be to get one beefy MySQL server and let all the app instances connect to that?

That is not my experience at all. My Intel laptop bought new in 2023 took 40 minutes to compile LLVM, would get extremely hot and loud, and the screen would hang multiple times during the process. This laptop’s fan would even spin when watc
