What I find amazing about them is that they were able to figure out so many things with a very limited body of knowledge. I understand they missed the mark in many things, but still they were able to come up with many great ideas(even if th

In which way java is more verbose than C++? People in Java tend to choose longer names but, that is more programming style than something in the language. In C++ you have to declare your functions in a header, then you have to do it again i

I have been watching several dozen videos from Kahn. I am surprised on how much efficient the videos are. You actually hear and see how the problems are resolved. If you are reading you have to jump between the text and the equations.

I know there is no answer for this. But, I am looking for good stories of people that you admire, not only for having created big companies but also for the code they've written.

It is a critical time, hopefully they can make a good transition. But things can get much worst if they people of Egypt don't have the maturity. Think, the Iranian revolution(of which I know little). In the Mexican revolution they were abl

In the case of currency, it is better to use decimal arithmetic because if you use float numbers the rounding behaves different than doing the same operations by hand or in a calculator. Another option is to use integers (to represent numbe

I love the MIT OpenCourseware. But, Most courses don't have videos yet. Also, I like Kahn,s approach more. You don't need to see the lecturer, but you need to be able to clearly read the blackboard. Also, colors are nice.
