Yes, at the moment, it's iPhone and iPad simulators. However, offering testing on real devices, too, is a high priority for us.

Hi, author of that blog post here. I meant to follow up with a more detailed tutorial on how to specifically spin up a Mac VM using those patches. Sorry I haven't done that yet. :-(

Very thrilled about this! As a Tindie seller [1], I've had an excellent experience so far. Congrats, emile! I put this in an email to Emile earlier, but would like to say it here, too... I think Tindie is perfect for people like me. I don

The lack of an on-board microphone could/should do that, too. :-) Pictures are a great, but a full-30fps video (with audio!) would greatly enhance our feeling of what it's like to be on the surface there.

Someone could (and should!) take the webrtc c++ libraries and use those to create their own native client app -- which would not be dependent on the Chrome browser.

I agree we're overdue for a Skype killer. The technology that's going to power it is called "WebRTC". http://www.webrtc.org/ http://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/webrtc/basics/ Watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8C8ou
