In this case, wasn't the poster assuming that you (the slut-shamed landmine victim) were unable to avoid reasoning correctly? Without taking sides here, it seems as if the poster was saying "you're wrong about X, therefore you couldn't be

It should be noted that the RDF endpoint isn't the only way of getting data out of Freebase. Freebase provides complete weekly data dumps ( http://wiki.freebase.com/wiki/Data_dumps ) and has instructions for post-processing them; presumably

I bet a snowball would have difficulty rebuilding the array before another disk went. I like your version better.

I agree with nopassrecover. Could you please provide a citation to research that demonstrates that we innately get depressed when not exposed to sunlight because we can't enjoy color differences as much? That seems to be a pretty audacious

Though in CS recoil could be predicted and controlled. I had a friend who spent literally hundreds of hours spraying an AK at a wall on an empty server in order to practice incredibly fast and precise mouse corrections. He was of course one

State sponsored attacks are often more serious than non-state attacks. Most malware attempts to exploit victims for the financial gain of the authors--which is bad, but something individuals recover from. If someone is targeted for surveill

Maybe I've never used good CRTs? They have always given me migraines. I was seriously considering whether I needed to give up on being a developer because I wasn't sure I could continue to work with computers around the time LCDs started ta

Google does encourage marking up pages with Microdata, Microformats and RDFa. http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&... Google publishes tools to help with these. Additionally, better informing Google what your page

This is close to how Go handles exceptions. The 'defer' statement schedules a function to be executed at the end of the current function, no matter now the current function is exited. The recover() call returns an active panic (panic being

My apologies. You make a good point, and this is one of those cases where CS folks are loose with the meaning of big-O. I still might be confused, but AFAICT, the OP's solution and computation by rounding both require O( (log n) * M(log n)

I don't doubt that, but I never see links to the SFW boards. I almost exclusively read or get sent links to /b/.

This is the first time I've ever seen (SFW) and 4chan in the same sentence. And probably, one of the only places where I'd believe it.

This is neat, and a solution that I hadn't seen before. But the author doesn't seem to be aware that finding the nth Fibonacci number is an O(1) problem: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibonacci_number#Closed-form_ex... Even the page the au

I've seen a number of really beautiful presentations like this recently. The page source indicates that it was generated from Org-mode. How much tweaking does it get to create a presentation like this, and is there any way I could see the s
