Yeah, this seems pretty terrible compared to a modified memtrest that reports results.

Only if OP never shared anything back with these friends. One of the joys of friendship is sharing special experiences with them that they might not do on their own.

That's not quite accurate, otherwise there wouldn't be a wide variety of things to choose with lower incomes. You forget that the market responds to the total volume of buyers at various levels. There are a lot more people in the

Why is income equality relevant in this case? The presence of billionaires in your country does not automatically imply that the poorest people are worse off than if the rich were driven out. I think what you were looking for is average inc

They're similar to Google/Apple/Facebook in that regard. Sure there are some great people there, but most devs are just going to be average.

So you're saying this should be treated just like a risky product from a no-name startup? That's a pretty sad place to have your product valued when you're in the position of a large company.

You're conflating a protest with a protest that involves breaking the law and risking peoples lives (blocking a road interferes with emergency services).

They would just game it then and underinvest on peering (similar to what happened in the netflix/Comcast scenario). What good is 1gbit guaranteed to your ISP if the entire ISP only has 10mbps to the rest of the world?

Can you turn your comment into something productive by showing a code example front another language that handles these cases better?

This line of thinking is that it's acceptable to fire a CEO of a company for not having the same political views of employees. Do you not see how rediculous that is?

You look at them when they arrive and then complain if they suck to get a refund. The same thing you do with every other thing you order online.

But that doesn't explain why Kafka has any minimum the output required. Does it have usability issues? A good tool should be able to be used at any scale.

What is the consistency model of redis? It sounds like anything can be lost in redis during normal HA operations even with WAIT pushing to a majority of slaves. Is that right?

This is a terrible attitude to have when responding to an obvious potential UX confusion, particularly when it will only come up in edge cases (>10 per millisecond).

Http doesn't solve cache coherency so it's not naive for ipfs to claim to solve HTTP's issues while having orthogonal issues on the TODO list.

Yes, different levels of abstraction but P4 is not a foundational beginning of SDN like this post makes it out to be. Packet injection, etc were already possible with OpenFlow and this article pretends P4 is the first thing to enable that.
