In addition, even "cat picture project" technology can sometimes be used to implement "world changing" technology. I think "do what you love doing and always challenge yourself" still generally applies here.

"CSS Lint simply checks to see if you've used float more than 10 times, and if so, displays a warning. Using this many floats usually means you need some sort of abstraction to achieve the layout." I suspect this means you should be using

The author claims OOCSS is a great philosophy when writing CSS, but then goes on to complain about a tool that is specifically written with OOCSS in mind. It would be a much simpler thing to write "CSS Lint checks for good OOCSS habits, but

downloadmultipleappsatonce.com is available. I think the larger issue here is search engine visibility. Although I'm not sure what the big fuss is- he described the site to someone and got a quick answer. Isn't how you usually find lost stu

You're right about gzip/deflate! And of course you don't have to use all the icons. So now my argument is probably that of browser compatibility and separation of jobs :)

I think it's an interesting experiment to explore CSS3 stuff. Some experiments end up impractical, but they're still good to know about. That said, for anyone wondering why they're not practical... Spritesheet image - 9kb [http://imgu

What distracts me the most is the red text on the left. Whenever I see red on a result page, it makes me think I misspelled my query and it's doing a "Did you mean...?" Not really sure why they went with red and not just... black or light b

This still suffers from the rounding error seen here [ http://i.imgur.com/DXjVN.png ]. Otherwise, yup... it's a grid. Looks like they're setting the grid elements to display:inline... which seems weird and unnecessary to me? Block elements

<div>s are semantically neutral so while it is extra markup, it's not like they had any semantic meaning in the first place. The relevancy of semantics is a can of worms in of itself... If you're not interested in separating layout

On the blog... " If you have some .class { width:25% } that will make 4 columns grid (25% + 25% +25% + 25%). The problem is that you can't have precision px margins (gutter). So in the past you had nested divs or .something-like-this{width:

Unless I'm mistaken, Incognito mode simply disables local history recording, and has not much (if at all) to do with search results or the ability for Google to track your movements. I suggest Chromium for the paranoid!
