Having read the book cover to cover I can say that it is quite a well made, relatable list of challenges and how they are being resolved in the sector. Foreseeing these types of issues is hard especially if you never went through the proces

BFFs needing security is not that valid; especially if you go at it as a "middle layer that queries things like your client would" and treat it from security perspective the same as your clients. (i.e. don't trust the bff) Gr

Yes I do. I have changed where I live. I didn't have that many people in my life regardless - but it doesn't take much to see how isolated I've become, so any kind of _socialising_ is helpful in my quest to not go insane.

Hi guys, author here! I’ve just written a very short, hopefully good explanation for merkle trees. More of a layman’s explanation type of a text but would love to get feedback. If it does not meet the requirements (I read them and didn’t se

Tesla has shown time and time again that they care for their customers, giving free services and even upgrades. This is just another CNBC attack on TSLA for whatever reason.

It seems to be a very simple way of looking at it: squeeze out as much as possible from the employee without losing the employee - hence on the edge of quitting. However, I think it is way too simple to be useful. People who are happy and r

Whole system was designed so that Facebook did not need to prioritise short term goals such as stock prices over long term ambitions, no matter how good or bad those ambitions might be. System works, apparently.

There are a couple points to be made on this. 1. This is less of a "AI" issue, more of a UI/UX for specialized tools issue. Dreamweaver comes to mind especially; the moment you are trying to get something that can be flexible

Not entirely. The guys is a frequenter which means recurring revenue, and making the cafe look lively is something that gives it social proof. If the place has such a problem, they can mitigate it ofc. For example, you can limit the charger

When new mediums appear, usually they don't get rid of the previous ones but coexist with them. Besides, paper is really good at some things, changing it just because it is more techy is not something valuable to anyone.
