The video is funny and all but I love the high level pattern recognition aspect of it. This is a silly example of I would call the work of a "deliberate expert", where he used his knowledge of the songwriter's songs to identi

If I remeber correctly it was Delphi 3 at the time. I loved Delphi, but I only got proficient on it thanks to Marco Cantu's "Mastering Delphi" book. I don't know what I would think of the book today, but it was a huge he

Even if this hypothesis is correct, I would replace "dangerous" with "unpredictable", because the resulting effects of those interactions would be as likely to cause good as to cause harm.

Interesting initiative. Women, in my opinion (this may sound dumb, as I am a man), have sometimes a different rhythm than men, bring different interests and pay attention to different problems. So an environment more atuned to their way of

Cool idea! I love anything that helps to learn/practice foreign languages. I only wish it would work better on mobile safari (swipe is clunky, works only sometimes, and everything I try to do activates the TTS).

Worse yet is people making up their minds about a subject only by reading a headline. I don't know if you did this, but it appears so.

This is a great point that a lot of people seem to miss (or just don't care). I do care because I don't like to worry about dust accumulating internally, noisy/malfunctioning fans, etc.

Kara Swisher is like that sometimes, and I don't like it too. On Steve Jobs last interview to her and Mossberg, Mossberg was trying to capture how Steve thinks, but Kara was only interested in the current event of apple dropping google
