Hammerspoon can change focus by relative direction. Can be a bit iffy sometimes but between that and HyperSwitch I'm never really at a loss.

Generally too purple for its own good but a very interesting read! The Borges reference (and C. elegans conundrum) makes me as a layreader really appreciate how little we actually know about the endgame for all this data. But there is such

Yup. Just when I finally gave in and made a user with a backup email it turns out they're also demanding I download their app? I definitely would've created an account long ago, with my regular Gmail, if they didn't demand it

Glad you found something' Since the pi does have screwholes you can also just literally mount them straight on the wall :) me I like that asthetic out in the open but if they're in the closet anyways it doesn't really matter.

Nevermind the hocus pocus, and I agree as far as "travel", but all that's really needed for (fairly dystopian attempts at) space colonization is surely artificial wombs? Which aren't far off. We don't need to break

Any case and any old original iPad charger will do you fine, seriously :) I'm just saying, if you want something really sturdy nothing stops you from either investing in or tinkering up whatever your fancy. And don’t forget a pi-hole i

Proper USB power supplies don't just randomly die once a year, that's utter lunacy. And what exactly is stopping you from getting any 5V power source or even just rigging up an old PSU with a 10W resistor on the 12V rail and splic

Apart from being an outlier, and a plastic bag ban not being the same as one on plastic (how would that even work?), it's not like the city would be spotless if it wasn't littered with armed men and heavy enforcement. Poverty mean

How to you go from SPLC backing down after '"human rights advocates affiliated with the United Nations" praised Nawaz's work.' to Quilliam being UN affiliated, and SPLC not backing down? At least read your own link,

At least on iOS Safari there's this bug (feels like it's always been there, maybe content blocker related?) where sometimes a search simply gets eaten. The browser somehow thinks you went from nowhere straight to the page you'

Wouldn't the real use-case here rather be battery powered devices? While RAM on a modern laptop will only use a few watts at most, which is little compared to other components when under load, that still accounts for quite a big chunk

Not sure what the point is when it costs $100 and is magnitudes smaller and less powerful than a proper one which runs at $200-300 - an upfront cost which is dwarfed in the long run by filter replacements, as would be the case here.

Many (most?) proper ones use a combination of a coarse washable pre-filter, charcoal, HEPA, and ionizer. Which makes sense, since they all basically do different things.
