I just enabled it with Google Authenticator. And tried using on my phone. Didn't seem to work. May be they are getting DDoS right now due to the announcement.

I have a similar concern with charging my phone using USB ports in public places. Got a reminder last week while returning from an international trip. The plane had both power outlet and USB port for charging (Really glad they had them ther

Congrats Kenton. Your exploration into enterprise makes sense for getting financial resources to pursue open source consumer goals. I am glad I got opportunity to back your campaign. All the best.

Yeah. I really like Pebble. YMMV but for my needs its perfect. I want important notifications 'on my wrist'; so I can put the phone away during family time (when daughter is around). And the basic screen (no bright colors or touch

Yeah. I backed sandstorm.io and been closely monitoring it. The day collaboration apps on it closes the usability gap, I will switch.

Every time I read about Fastmail, I want to make the jump from Google Apps. However, I don't do it because of Google Drive/Docs/Spreadsheet. Any recommendation for their replacement?!

This is mentioned by someone else on the top as well. I love camelcamelcamel and it's chrome browser extension. You can limit it to be able to run only when you are on amazon domain.

I don't know any one who enjoy their work as much as the Tappet brothers seemed to on their show. I used to listen to them during my commute after a long days work. Your laughter was indeed infectious. RIP Tom.

This is great. Had I known about this couple of weeks back, I would have opted for this instead of singing up for Dropbox and going to the initial painful step of uploading ALL my local photos (hundreds of GB) to it. Do you know if Picture

I cannot judge the merit of this approach but I have been eagerly waiting for WiTricity or Cota to show up in my electronics gadgets. Can't wait to get rid of charging cables. I am sure the engineering takes lots of effort and time but

Does anyone know if Mail app now supports "cloud" search for Gmail? i.e. you don't need to download ALL your Gmail to local machine to be able to search. My SSD is quickly getting filled up and this is becoming one huge pain

Agree. But its seems those features will not be used as much. This highlights a market opportunity for a simple CarPlay-only client that is significantly cheaper.

With all the core functions being driven from the iphone, how can pioneer justify such high price (~$1000) for essentially a screen and bunch of adapters to the car's systems. ?

Interestingly, when I pasted the entire article, it gave me the score of Grade 8. Complex sentences can still be interspersed between simple ones and get a good readability score.

Just use the 'Invert Color' option. Configure Triple Click for it. I use it all the time. And with this new design, it will be even better in this scenario. Personally, I don't think I will like the super flat design though.

I will have to agree with your perspective. I feel more comfortable setting up my parents with an iOS device than with an Android device. With iOS, I can happily have them install any app they find in the app store.
