No, the hypothetical assumes that 50% of all assets are passively-investable. 50% low-energy, 50% high-energy. There are a lot of brilliant, resourceful people in that high energy crowd who are establishing the share prices that the low-e

If you're implying that TaskWarrior is a tool and that org-mode is a formatting language (or file format), then you're way off to begin with. Org-mode does have a specific format for its files. But much of its power derives from

Not a great analogy. The designed use-case for a book is to be held in your hands and read. Whereas burning is almost never desired, generally only happens if something goes awry. Given that two-hand holding is the norm for paper books I

I'm not commenting pro or con on any politician. What I'm saying is that, _if_ someone wants to do what they can to fight climate change, voting for politicians who share their goals would be one thing they could do that would he

Same here, great experience with Linux on UX305FA. I switched to multi-boot setup, shrinking Windows partition and giving Ubuntu 14.04 half of the 256GB SSD. Switched window manager to i3, which is excellent, can't imagine going back

My impression, too, the author explicitly says he understands value of unit testing and will continue to do it, but he's going to give up on the idea of writing tests before he writes the actual program code. Strange, from what I can

Ahh, yes, in Freemind there is, strictly speaking, only one parent. I think they adopted this restriction because folding/collapsing of nodes is hard to define and/or hard to understand without this restriction, and folding is an

Exactly. The org-mode -->> freemind conversion works fine, translating textual hierarchical outline to freemind's graphical representation. I don't think the current exporter has support for exporting non-hierarchical link

If all you're doing now is plain text with bullets there may be nothing to gain. If, however, you have main bullet items that then have subitems, you'd gain the advantage of "collapsing" items (what in some coding envir

I don't know about Dominic System, but Memory Palace method is not about analyzing and/or grokking relations between items at all. It's simply a method that helps you remember stuff. Outlining is not about remembering stuff

Orgmode supports export to the graphical mind-mapper, Freemind. Graphviz/dot is supported as a language you can use within org documents as part of org-babel functionality, but I don't think there's actually an exporter to g

Mind map is not really equivalent unless you restrict connections to rigid hierarchy, but ability to make more flexible connections is part of why you'd choose mind map software over an outliner. FWIW, orgmode does export outlines to F

No, the non-salary income is not "qualified dividends" and does not qualify for the 15% rate. It is taxed as "ordinary income", just like the salary. The advantage of S-Corp taxes has nothing to do with lower tax rates
