3D Secure basically redirects you to a webpage run by a third party (usually your bank) to enter additional details, like a seperate password. I find it much more annoying. My New Zealand (.co.nz) bank redirects me to a .co.uk domain with t

Looks like a jailbroken Apple TV 2. There's a VNC server for that.

If your email is hosted on the same machine as your web server, I don't think DDoS attacks are your highest priority.

I was hit by this issue too. Everything that came up online (and worked in the past) was to reset the date in the Terminal. Of course, that didn't help in the slightest.

I fix iPhones. The battery needs to be really, really dead before it'll fix the issue. When a battery is reconnected the internal date is reset back to 0 (Jan 1 1970) until the phone connects to a cellular network/NTP server.

Push notifications are pretty tiny, and it's not like one new connection is opened for each notification. Also that's over WiFi.

New Zealand is similar, one carrier is 3G/4G only, one of them is 2G/3G/4G, and the newest one only operates their own network in major cities on 2G/3G/4G and roams onto the second largest outside of it. I frequentl

So despite the article talking about DJI heavily, none of DJI's products will be impacted.

I've been using (and carting) a Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter since I bought my first Retina in 2012 and it's really not all that bad. If you're constantly using it daily then carrying it around isn't a huge ask.

Retina models ditched the Ethernet port, so 2012 is when that happened.

I don't think you're being completely fair. We have excellent infrastructure, especially compared to Australia. Cloudflare now has NZ caches (and they peer locally) so HN is 3-5ms for me. Facebook has strange routing which seems t

This is the correct answer. You can't blame Apple for not supporting a feature they never claimed to support. I don't think there's malicious intent here, rather a lack of demand or awareness.

To be fair to YikYak, they didn't switch off HTTPS, Flurry switches it off by default. Maybe they didn't know of that? In any case, they should enable it and Flurry should make it the default.
