I'd guess the majority of large enterprises are using the 365 stack. I've had more Teams calls today than Zoom calls throughout the entire pandemic.

You can pick up a Wyse 3040 with an Atom X5 for ~$20. It's limited to 2GB RAM, and of course x86, but the processor benches on par with the Pi 4.

I'm starting the process of shifting to Australia (from NZ), and this is going to be the hardest pill to swallow - I'm paying $83 AU for 900/400 currently!

My mother has been in the market for a new car for the last few months. I was keen on a Tesla until the shitposter in chief took the reins. We bought an Audi last week instead.

I’m on call this week (usual rotation, just happened to coincide). Full change blackout means less humans breaking things, and I get to save my annual leave during the mandated company shutdown + get alternate PTO for the public holidays. S

It's most definitely already on it's way out - but it's a slow process :) Most of the switching hardware is significantly older than I am!

I work at a telco. We have many museum-grade Unices in production, mostly AIX and Solaris - we even have a Wang still running in one of our datacenters. It's largely a case of there isn't a business case to migrate it to modern ha

The last Android phone I used was a T-Mobile G1, but my employer recently provided me with a S21 FE. My god, the software is so user hostile - two diallers, two messaging apps, two browsers out of the box.

I've received it on two addresses today, as well as an update about tax in British Columbia yesterday. I've never sold anything on Apple's stores, and haven't had an email from iTunes Connect before this.
