The hitch is that G+ users are not writing reviews; they are just writing what they think are comments or mini-blog posts. They are being taken out of that context and marketed as reviews by Google.

This is exactly what I thought. How are they going to be sure that the review is actually honest and relevant. What if I say something contradictory in the review? Or post irrelevant stuff in it? The only way they could avoid such face-palm

But their website doesn't render the styled icons with javascript turned off. I think it is a bit misleading for them to say "CSS based SVG styling".

I wonder if it were to get close to a star, would the heat from the star be sufficient to ignite the fusion in the orphan planet?

Apparently, the estimated number of orphan planets is "100,000 per star in the galaxy!" [1]. The star equivalent to these orphan planets are called, well, orphan stars. They are not bound to a particular galaxy and roam about free

The article says that such planets have been observed previously, but only indirectly. I found an article about those previous discoveries: http://arstechnica.com/science/2011/05/exoplanets-without-a-...

The biggest difference between Flipkart of today and that of yesteryear is that Flipkart is now a marketplace. This is unwieldy. There are 5 different sellers for the same goods with different prices, different offers, and different shippin

Well, the browsers could disable non PFS ciphers by default. When a site doesn't match any PFS cipher list, show a pop-up with a way to add an exception for the site. Much more graceful than a complete switch-over and doesn't requ

I agree with what you are saying. It's just that you gave a floating point multiplication example, where an integer multiplication with overflow would have been a relevant example. Here's a relevant example, 2^26 * 2^26 == 2

You seemed to have jumped from talking about integers to floating point! And the example you have given is a problem with all floating point implementations, not just Javascript. You will get that exact same answer in C, Java, etc. The only

I was working in a largish project recently with a three-tiered architecture as described in the article. However, both of the server-side tiers were in Scala, and it was hard to see the advantage in that case. However, using NodeJS in lieu

It is also dangerous to inhale these powders. They are very fine and very abrasive. One needs to maintain a clean-room environment, both for the protection of the mirror from dust, and of yourself from the abrasives.

The real worry is not Canonical misusing your data, but third-parties mis-using it. Even if Canoncial makes a mistake and goes down, in the mean time, your private information has been sent to third-parties, by default! "Third-parties&
