So, how do I make sure my connection isn't MITM-ed? There is no server host key anywhere to compare. No CA certificate support. Doesn't look like ed25519 is supported either. Somehow people don't use self-signed certificates

For those interested I found https://github.com/xBrowserSync to be the most promising. The only thing it doesn't have firefox extension yet.

Why can't it be ground truth and sync to browsers' bookmarks? - I refuse to use anything that is not integrated with the browser bookmarks. All these numerous web "bookmarks" are just silly. The above mentioned floccus&#

Ha, I have exactly the same thoughts. Except it could be any 3d party file syncing service i.e. syncthing, dropbox, gdrive etc. Any cross browser bookmark syncing alternative left? - Looks like it's either you stick with a single brow

Ksplice could do it for years on linux. It's owned by Oracle now. AFAIK there is an ongoing development in linux kernel to make it generic feature.

There is still unfixed IOS 11 introduced bug [1] that kills notification screen which requires powercycle to fix. Some users hit it multiple times a day. [1] https://discussions.apple.com/message/32638979?ac_cid=tw1234.

It's not really the same. Schwab robo uses "Fundamental" funds which add value tilt which I like. Also, robo adds tax loss harvesting (for taxable accounts).

I trust zfs more but would use btrfs for personal storage provided backup strategy is solid :) I'd go with raid1/raid10 though.

Without ZFS (as far as I can see) OpenMediaVault is failing at its main job i.e. keeping data safe. That's not the tradeoff I would make.

I like the design and 2.5" choice. But if it doesn't support zfs it's no go for me. If you (abstract) are not concerned with bit rot you doing NAS wrong. Something like that running FreeNAS (w/o dedup) would be ideal for
