They mentioned a baseline for benchmarking but didn’t offer any benchmarks. I’d enjoy seeing some if anyone has.

I suppose they would be required to work with an independent 3rd party that would manage the reviews. A little bit similar to the Credit Rating companies. IMHO it could be a good, kind of, separation of responsibility.

Fun! In an ideal world it would be better to use ML to recognize the faces, arrows, etc. A first pass could blur them. In a real ideal world the ML would watch the video and give it better titles and thumbnails too! Sadly we live in the rea

The book is just a means to an end. I mention it as a summary of the idea that life is best when you make your own economy by making the internet work for you. A world of culture tailored to your preferences is available to those that want.

Think about it this way: you have to implement the same amount of business logic in any case. The only question being discussed here is where the work will be performed. The author is talking about scaling. If you have 3 server insurance bu

I’ve even found “Is not null” queries on a Boolean column to be slow so I made a generated column that’s Boolean.

Love it! Hopefully you can get a referral fee from the banks! Btw, I’m Canada, we have a unique Money transfer system called “bill pay” (it probably has an official name but that’s what everyone calls it). I’d love for you to add more filte

Why can’t phones easily add capabilities on both sides of the visible range? IR and UV. The visible range isn’t special except to us, right?

At this point it isn't a technology problem but a business problem. The tech exists, but how do you get everyone to adopt it? I genuinely wish I knew!

Can anyone comment on the reliability of a setup like that? I've used OpenMediaVault for a few years and I've had terrible network reliability. I believe that it's basically just a GUI on top of those packages, eh?

I'll chime in and say that I did the same. A lot of people like Fly but I wanted super low complexity. My hope has mostly panned out. I was able to move without too much difficulty and I'm happy with how it turned out.
