That’s the point. This precedence processing should be intuitive if you’ve learned to do calculations by hand, and it helps you understand the expression as you enter it which makes for easier error detection. It’s also nicer for building u

Valve recently updated Remote Play so that hosts can send anyone a link to install the Steam Link app (available on every major platform but macOS at the moment) and join local multiplayer games remotely. Guests don’t even need a Steam acco

The author does mention this in an in-depth article on search: https://thevaluable.dev/vim-search-find-replace/ It's pretty comprehensive. Personally I'd just install Doom Emacs though :)

For posterity, Expunge Both fixed my issues. I also had issues with accounts other than Gmail auto-expunging messages marked with the Trash flag, so I had to tweak mu4e a bit to only move deleted messages to the Trash folder without also fl

Yes, they fixed the bug, which is good, but if you read jwz’s post, the issue is that these bugs don’t fail safe. A screen locker shouldn’t crash to an unlocked session. The design of a screen locker should take into account that bugs and c

I just got started with mbsync and am having several issues with Gmail and Outlook.com. These are old accounts and I do have well-behaved IMAP emails from smaller hosts, but it would be nice to manage everything with mbsync. Trashing emails

It appears the default is light mode, rather than system preference. For those of us who use websites logged out most of the time, this is a bit annoying. Hopefully the default is changed to system preference in future.

For long output and ncurses, libvterm may suffice https://github.com/akermu/emacs-libvterm . The rest of the time, eshell is very comfortable for me.

I guess that makes sense. They’re pretty rigorous about conforming to style and it’d be hard for the (presumably English-speaking) editors to uphold the same standards for a language they don’t share. Not to mention each language would prob

If possible can you point out resident keys in the spec? This is confusing. > For each account on a given site, you'll have an independent RK. Is this only for usernameless sites? Sites with usernames can just use normal keys, right

If you have two, say, Microsoft accounts, can you use the same FIDO2-capable authenticator for both, and can Microsoft correlate the accounts by authenticator? I know keys are unique per-site, but are they per-account? edit: The spec[1] is

Sadly, some of Valve’s more interesting Steam features don’t really work on Wayland. For example, you can control your desktop with a connected controller on X11, while controllers only work in-game and in Big Picture Mode on Wayland. Xbox

A good number of people seem to prefer the HD650 sound even if they’re less neutral, and they can be had for $200 via the HD6XX rather than $300 for the HD600, so I wouldn’t count them out immediately.
