the "quick maths" way is 2000 hours/year 50 weeks, 40 hours per week. Dividing/Multiplying by 2 in your head for quick estimates easy. For more accuracy, do what you did.

Question for terminal email users. What do you use on mobile? Do you not bother having email access on your phone? Or do you ssh into a tmux session somewhere? Or do you have a client on your phone in addition to using terminal at the desk.

I may be wrong, but aren't you doing two loops by doing it that way? One for the select, and another for the map? Or does ruby compile out the select loop with smarts. In Go, the intuitive way would be one loop with an if inside it. So
