MediaWiki (the software that runs Wikipedia) has extensive built-in support for user scripts. There's a decent number of them, too, used for everything from automation of batch tasks to adding any feature one could ask for to the inter

Yup, I locked it pending the outcome of the talk page discussion; it would be nice to have a non-twitter source to point to.

Did it in middle school through high school (FLL & FRC), and started volunteering freshman year in college. Incredibly fun experience throughout. I highly recommend mentoring and/or volunteering - the energy at a FIRST competition

Honestly wish I'd known about this when I was younger. In my opinion this could be a gateway for younger coders to start working on larger projects.

Hoopl (data flow analysis) would also make a difference. I did a very similar project at my university in Haskell and Hoopl definitely saved us from writing quite a bit of code. We also used parser combinators in the frontend, which I think

Completely agreed. I think Wikipedia has the right idea for dealing with company names like this - use title case and omit anything that isn't pronounced. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style
