As soon as American politicians get the same treatment... The west doesn't hold the moral high ground on anything. Wherever the US meddles, misery follows.

Wikipedia isn't a credible source though. The takeaway from the last 2 years is that you can't trust the media. It's all propaganda and lies. Unbiased, objective news died a long time ago if it ever existed.

You're not alone, I just avoid it. I'd rather hope to see the same news or topics here and see what people have to say. The Ars comment section is scary and just makes me lose hope in humanity.

Only one I haven't seen in the South African catalogue is 30 Rock. I've been binging Parks and Rec. I blame the licencing agreements.

It boggles my mind that anyone can oppose transparency. Why do some people view these vaccines/pharma companies as something sacred, not to be questioned.

Yep, they were crapping on the vaccines and now they're forcing people to take the same ones. People too easily forget what politicians spew. Critical thinking is lost on many.

Omicron is a mild flu. Live your life and have fun. Don't be a victim to fear mongering. I'm never getting vaccinated, I haven't been sick since this thing started. I'm South African, our vaccination rates are well belo

I think sites that fail the accessibility test should be shamed into compliance. Possibly like how they handle sites that aren't https. I can just imagine how frustrating it must be to have an impairment that hinders usage of a website

Do the work and gtfo. If the majority is leaning to one side then they don't tolerate any differing viewpoints. I don't interact with anyone if it's not related to getting the job done. As an example, the majority are vacci

We used web workers to shift a lot of processing off of the main thread. They helped in keeping the UI feeling responsive and less laggy.

How would the general population afford electric vehicles? Are people fine with only certain classes of society being able to afford private transport, the plebs can use public transport if they need to go anywhere. Public transport isn

At this rate let's just switch everything off. Get rid of everything and become hunter/gatherers again. This climate change fear mongering is getting really tiring. All these green changes ever do is make normal people's live

The joy that people are getting from this is quite shitty. I hate social media but there are people earning a living working for these companies. Like others have pointed out, businesses and neighborhood watches rely on tech like this. At s

The lefty/liberal god complex of wanting to control everything, even the planet is getting really boring. You guys need to get hobbies and stop making life miserable for people who think differently.
