Reno is an awesome town. Most of the people I've talked to who have been to Reno have only ever seen the "trashy" casinos and run-down areas along S Virginia St., but if you dig deeper you'll find there's much more

Yea, it's really tough -- I currently have Sonic in Alameda and do not want to switch back to Comcast, but at the 4/1 speeds I'm currently getting it makes it hard to work from home.

Perhaps they simply enjoy using ColdFusion. It gets a lot of hate, but some of the features that ship with CF (templating, extremely easy db access, PDF generation) made/make CF a rather powerful and fun language. If only Adobe had chosen t

I think it would be nice if TC disclosed Arrington's involvement with SoftTech VC, which has invested in Postmates.

It will, however, make hardware debugging harder. Being able to swap the CPU into another motherboard comes in handy.

Like it. Not sure it could replace Firebug, etc for me though. It would be nice to be able to use the up/down arrows to navigate the page while the goggles are active.

I'd love to know how often false positives occur when blacklisting sites, and how website owners can go about appealing.

Ha, I spent a bit trying the same method, and it didn't work for me either. Didn't have the insight to move them though.

Although I'm only slightly interested (don't really have too good of a work ethic :)), I think this is a really interesting space that has plenty of room for innovation. Hope you kill it!

It was not only possible to initialize arrays like that in C89, that method is often referred to as "C89-style". Also, let's not forget what the C standard says about integer sizes, which is that A) It is guaranteed that sizeof char == 1 B)

Right. I don't actually write any Verilog, but I often have to read and port it over to C. It's much easier to read, follow, and comprehend than VHDL.

Right, it not being unethical is my opinion; I didn't mean to present it as an objective statement. I'm certainly open to listening to opinions that this is ethically "wrong", but as of now I don't believe it is.
