Yeah, at that point it's better to buy an external lens for the Iphone. Single purchase and better pictures.

How will they watermark code? I can understand encoding something in free form text but for example I ask it to generate a react component, will it embed watermark in the typescript code?

I thought about this a few times but the flash storage is a bit sketchy for running a database, I am worried it can die. Tho android does have sqlite built in and works fine.

Sounds to me like developer jobs are not going away after all. Somebody needs to understand what the AI communicates. Sounds more like job security to me.

I can read it but not sure if worth spending energy on it. It doesn't make sense for the reader to spend more energy than the writer spent on creating it.

I agree that the people who vibe code driven by the fear of being left behind are in a sort of self fulfilling loop. The more code is generated without understanding, the less likely it will be maintained and it will be left behind the audi

I think it is designed for AI Pull Requests. My impression was that it's for reviewing large generated changes.

There is nothing wrong with tailscale, it's just a dependency that can cost money charged by a third-party, so their product is less self-sovereign because it depends on tailscale keeping up a free tier. Headscale seems interesting!

The domain was registered on 15 May 2026 so these are probably vibe coded apps, thats why they are sold so cheap. The naming is probably AI too. No proof yet that they will be maintained but they seem to be pretty simple. Single use softwar

Interesting choice because tailscale is not free. Building in a paid third-party service is a questionable decision. They better acquire it, if their product catches on. Building with wireguard directly instead of tailscale would have been

That one is not public and if it goes down can be hidden, so they can hardcode the value and call it a day.

Mitch said he doesn't like go since they added generics. I checked the available jobs and they are hiring Typescript for web, Go for infrastructure, systems, Objective-C, swift for Apple I dig the ssh jobs page, UX is very good.

I have a lot of respect for Mitchellh but taking VC money for a tmux clone is wild. As long as you are rich all the VCs will throw money at you.. fine.. but if you are rich then you don't have to take the VC money either. Just do it ou

The thing with rust is that you get safety with slow compilation, it's a tradeoff. Zig doesn't have the same safety guarantees, it's on the dev to use safe coding patterns, so the tradeoff for safety is discipline or experien

The biotech work is not even these LLM models. Alphafold and others solving the protein folding problem are revolutionary. An LLM can max provide an instructive tutorial protocol for lab work, but designing novel proteins is not it's j

Everything in this space is manufactured, the plebs is fed very deliberate information for manipulation. I don't think there is a debate about it. All the PR stuff is marketing.

What I find a problem is when I build everything with AI then if I have a flaw in a fundamental concept it can become very hard to refactor, to the point that the project can die. So far I never built anything that didn't need human in

It's funny OpenAI hires somebody who studies black holes. I thought they are looking for a different singularity.
