I use and love linklocker.co ! It's $12 yearly, but it's worth it! I think I have over 3000 links saved in there.

I'd just like to thank you for building something like this! As someone who uses Youtube rss feeds and also likes Hooktube, this is something I've been needing for a while.

That works for the main firehose feed and https://news.ycombinator.com/showrss , but there isn't a feed for the ask posts as of yet that I've seen anyway.

Lol and I have a feed with 3000 unread items, actually several. I don't pay attention to unread counts. Well actually I do, they're there for reference, but that's it. I do the same thing, I might open 50-100 interesting-look

Google reader was epic! Although the development when it comes to RSS readers and such went into overdrive when Google shut it down. I think The Old Reader has replaced most of Google Reader's features, but not all of them by any means

Well you can still have clickbait-like headlines with RSS, but it does take the viral element away,.

There are a lot of services that do Twitter to RSS like twitrss.me and queryfeed.net. Queryfeed also does some Facebook things.

Lol I probably have 25000 unread articles in my reader right now. I just read whatever I feel like that day and move on.

I love RSS! I'm between readers right now though. The one I'm using only loads a few feed items at a time so it's annoying. If someone can recommend a reader that presents feeds as a list of links, and has a bookmarklet I can

I use the RSS feed finder user script. If it really can't find it, I use the feed autodetect bookmarklet. Both work well for me.

Do you plan on releasing the Twitter list RSS feed generator? It's something I've wanted for a while.

by hopesthoughts 9y ago
Well i'd be interested in using it if it had an RSS feed lol. That's just me though.

So I did add a couple feeds to test. Is there a way to make the feeds show up as a list of links? Lol maybe that will happen when I get a lot of feeds in there. I think this is pretty cool so far. Thanks! PS oh yeah maybe it's just me,

by hopesthoughts 9y ago
Sure thing, I suppose I could add a few feeds just to test it. Lol I think I'm subscribed to over 100, (or more,) so adding them by hand might not be the most fun thing.

I just recently completed migration from Gmail. It does take a while because there are so many things you might forget to update and then you're like, "oh crap," I changed my email address and for some strange reason LastPass

I use this all the time! A lot of podcasts hide their RSS feeds for some reason. Either that or they're using SoundCloud, and they really don't make feeds easy to find over there.

Is there an OPML import feature? I can't find one lol but that's just me.

I just found everydayCheck yesterday. It will fit a lot of the daily goals I have. For goals that aren't daily I use a site like 43things.com, which is in desperate need of an alternative, by the way. I tend to look at my 43T goals eve

Lol I think I'm the only one here still using LastPass. I just started using a password manager at the beginning of this year and it really seems to work for me.

Well for me Twitter is a distraction. When I want to keep up with news etc, I use RSs.
