Where does the third arm go? In the middle of your chest like a Vortigaunt? I feel like two extra arms would be the way to go. I could hold my notepad and my coffee at all times.

The problem with a software moat is that it's infecting physical objects. Hardware, sure. But things like your tractor refusing to work if you use a non-vendor approved component. Not sued, just bricked.

Thankfully there's already a realistic simulation of life on a natural satellite to draw upon. Ok, joke aside, I think the biggest issue with colonizing the Moon or Mars is that the surface is basically made of asbestos.

What I think might happen is people will say "wow ML is just like the human mind", and extrapolate from there that people who aren't special boys like them are just NPCs and don't have as many human rights.

The Las Vegas metro area has a population of 2.2 million. UNLV isn't exactly dinky. I guess I don't what's funny about a public land grant university having a post-doctoral research fellow.

Ah ok, that tracks with my email usage too. I also use it for more official communications. Maybe this should be titled "It's Time to Give Up on Email [for socializing]", lol.

Such as? I just can't think of another technology that facilitates the async behavior of email messages. I know some businesses just use WhatsApp but I don't love it. Maybe we would mandate everyone uses Microsoft Teams.
