The day The Onion sues an obvious parody for copyright violation is the day I eat my shoe. Or write a very angry letter to the editor, one of the two.

Yeah I was confused by this too. People in Indiana, do you have a lot of strangers over for parties or something?

Note owners should be rightfully incensed. Also want to note that the Photon 4G is almost the exact same phone as the Verizon Droid X (pretty sure that's the model, too lazy to look) which DID get updates because V's model update schedule w

Well to be fair to Googlerola, the Photon 4G was a pre-Google phone. I haven't tried any of the post-Google phones.

Filter noise? You mean like concerns of citizens instead of concerns of lobbyists? A Kickstarter might be more useful than a petition in getting the attention of the US government.

Samsung makes gorgeous, inexpensive products but their software leaves a lot to be desired. I never understood the boosters of the GSIII, really. I can understand loving the hardware and the form factor but I booted it up once, saw the thir

I like optional, it seems like there's no reason there couldn't be an additional flag set at the time of branch. You do kind of know who branched though because aren't they going to have the first commit on that branch? But perhaps what you

If people are using SCM for too many things instead of too few, then that's a major improvement. Git could be better, yes. I personally prefer Hg even though I almost never use it due to Git's ubiquity. But as far as switching to distribute

For traditionalist sticklers, you can purchase Evan Williams 100 proof fairly commonly (white label). 99% of people honestly could not care less and probably shouldn't. I only care for traditionalism's sake that I grew up on the KY border a

Yeah unfortunately that one sentence has overridden this whole article because of the nature of Twitter--people keep retweeting and piling on without ever reading the article. It was a really dumb statement though. I don't even understand h

To me Makers was already a subpar julep liquor for the reason it was 90 proof. Making any weaker simply takes it totally out of contention for serious bartenders. The reality is people who are not serious already don't care and they'll make

Sometimes you have to make an idea public to understand how truly stupid it is. For anyone that doesn't understand why this is such a big deal, when you make bourbon drinks, especially a mint julep, you want ~100 proof liquor because you ad

Chasing VC money is becoming an increasingly stupid thing to do with your business. The sooner everyone realizes this and start to build businesses that actually reflect need, the better off we'll be. I cannot imagine how many people's 20's
