Some crime happens on a college campus probably every day. Most likely hundreds of violent crimes a year. But the reason this is on HN is MIT, nothing more.

You're right, I misread your post. I think what happens is that the deeper you go into the left, if you are of a generally radical anti-mainstream bent like I was entering school, you're attracted to leftist ideology because of the fairness

You and I have discussed DHS related things before, and I think we simply have differing views on this entire thing. I simply don't want any more power going to the most demonstrably incompetent branch of government in the history of the US

I'm from Murica, and yeah, I do not care about it being Korean and I don't particularly have positive feelings for Apple. I would assume in general Americans have a neutral to positive view of Korea in general so I don't know why that would

We are talking about Samsung here, this is the company that has pretty much ripped off every successful design in its history. I'm fairly certain they've never stood on principle for anything but a hearty office chuckle.

I used backyard as the sort of example that is always made in law school. Backyards are actually not entirely private. Say you have an illegal pool, if the cops see it from the air, you're still subject to prosecution. Or if you shared a ba

You should talk to your bank as it depends on the network your bank uses. Most of the time it's something like a 48 hour window to challenge charges but it's far less at some banks.
