10. I have a 3d printer for about 5 years. Sometimes I don't do anything with it for months, then I suddenly have some kind of project which eats all my spare time. I just finished a RC car which I created from scratch using Autodesk I

I got banned on /r/world news supposedly because I said something negative about Ukraine. The only thing I wanted was a healthy dialog without picking a side. I asked for clearification. Didn't hear anything. Got fed up with

Rebasing is merging multiple commits to one commit right? Basically you commit your small changes to your local master branch and at some point you merge them to one commit and push them to master repo?

Have you ever dealt with business support from Google? If you can get support at all, it's basically bots and auto replies. Even the worst state in the US has better support than Google or any other big software company out there.

Maybe the service itself will be crap once run by governments. But at least things are covered by law. things like fair hearings and proper customer support. Now you can be banned from those ecosystems just like they do in dictorial states.

Google image search is widely used. Imagine they incorporate ai generated content in the search results. That means that people remain at the Google site and thus an extra impression for their paid advertising.

Please no. I am all for neutrality, but the underlying cause is the training dataset. Change that if you want different results, but do not alter artificially.

Facebook is dying. In my social network hardly anybody is using it anymore. And everybody agrees: Facebook is an ad spoiled crap network with useless content. I am so surprised that nobody at Facebook recognises this and tries to improve up

Copilot doesn't remove the thinking process for large problems. But it helps me with dozens of small things. Like adding log lines, variable names etc.

Al my three kids are born with blond and blue eyes. After a year or 2 they all turned either green or brown eyes. My eyes are blue, my girls brown.

Do someone have some easy to understand reading material about latent diffusion principles? I try to understand the core concepts, but I have a hard time finding good sources.

I would say the Ukrainians in cooperation with their biggest friends: the Polish government. It's in no interest for the Russians to destroy their own pipeline. They could as well just shut down the supply. I don't wanna speak to

Because some people only or mostly read comments. Like me. Usually there a few posts giving more insights than the article itself.

I would love to see someone making a video of this and put it in stable diffusion to generate a even more synthwave experience.

Today I disabled Facebook and Instagram. I also removed all shortlinks to various newssites. I want to avoid them as well. Including Reddit . The only thing I am allowed to read is hackernews. I find that one of the few good sources. Even f

You still need computing power to generate those images, so definitely room for commercial activity there. Getty could precompute billions of images and enlarge their inventory.

In the future you can have full 16k movies representing only 1.44mb seeds. A giant 500 petabyte trained model file can run those movies. You can even generate your own movie by uploading a book.

I find the code of stable diffusion not bad at all. It's packaged nicely. It uses third-party libs where it should be. The algorithms are well laid out and reasonable easy to understand. This is not a project made by people without dev

How does the AI alter it's models during a process? I thought the weight models are pregenerated and not altered once used in a real-life app.

Could you for example create a simple 3d render with a very simple environment with cubes resembling houses and blobs as trees etc and a camera moving through that environment. Then use video generation in way like img2img works? That would

What if I create a fully automated image site where people can purchase images. All the images are generated by SD based on keywords I scrape from competitor websites. Would be quite easy to create a website like that.

In 80s there was a man (forgot his name) who claimed that one day you could store an entire high res movie on a floppy disc. One day he might be right when AI can regenerate sequences of seeds to images/video. You just need a petabyte

If floats are used than there is no absolute deterministic behaviour accross different machines. It can never be guaranteed.

It's the same as someone trying to mimic a style. Nothing wrong with that. Certainly not something you could get copyrights from.
