no offense, but man, the amount of tooling you guys are using sounds to me insane. How is a person able to oversee and understand everything. The older i get the more i feel distantiated and disconnected to these modern practices. I am afra

I would never go back into a agile/scrum organized environment where people talk about stoey points, the meaning and contents of a retro or an issue with the title of a ticket. If i only think about it i think its pure hell to work in

Its an example of bad leadership. You see it often. Higher management thinks product x can be ready in a y period. Reality is much different. One of the key reasons why companies and products fail.

As if only money counts. There is also somrthing like the fun part of work. Maybe i am spoiled by living in a country where money is not really an issue.

Question is if its really that bad, the contamination. If you would have the ability to zoom into your hands at at any time you would see colonies of various bacteria all over your hands. Is it really harming you? I agree though that a cert

Actually not bad. We are converting all our native apps to either webapps (still available in the store) and as a PWA. Performance was always an issue, but nowadays we are convenient that performance is good enough. Developping in web is so

From either side there is a lot of belief with just minor real experience to fully judge. For me it saves tons of coding time. Together with copilot i am twice as productive. At least.

Incredible useful data to feed back into the system for futher learning. Chatgpt is miles ahead on this part conpared to competitors who yet have to release. Imagine the amount of data chatgpt is receiving now. Google should be very very w

Well it can be useful. For example I wanted to implement a memory efficient binary search in c the other day. I asked gpt to generate it. Wasnt immediately working, but it gave me a good skeleton and it saved me some good hours of work.

I am absolutely sure that if Chatgpt created a google like interface on a domain like askme.com. without a required login, it would become immensely popular. Possibly eating away a lot from traditional search engines. Google search is becom

Same here. Worked on a lazy list in js for mobile. The component had a nasty array lookup every scroll event. I asked chatgpt if it could optimize the lookup algorithm. I suggested me to implement a binary search solution including the code

We also need to to have a emotion sheet, just like notes. So you can define along side text the emotion type per second. Angry, happy, exited etc.

It is not accelerating conversion to renewables now. In fact coal is never been used so much in Europe. The idea of transforming into a full renewable energy society is seen way too opportunistic.

I would like to have sticky elements on non parents. Very handy when you want to replicate android tab and header collapse functionality. Currently only possible with scroll listeners who are too slow and always show slight hickups.

Gpus are expensive. You need at least 10 gpus to quickly render stable diffusion images. If you want to run a service you need more of them. Thousands per month easily reached.

I think was flash did well was its neat component based framework. It was easy to understand, easy to modify and build your own set of controls on top of it. The runtime engine sucked. It was too slow and therefor power demanding. But the f
