Ursula von der Leyen is the example of where things are wrong in the EU. She is powerhungry. Has a history of things close to corruption. And she creates a very toxic environment to work in. Anxiety amongst personnel around her is very comm

This man (in the article) clearly hates AI. I also think he does not understand business and is not really able to predict the future.

You have the wrong idea of how an LLM works. Its more like an model that iteratively finds associating / relevant blocks. The reasoning are the iterative steps it takes.

Crypto is not creating anything. Its a scheme that is based on gamble. Person A gets rich. Person B loses money. It does not really contribute to anything.

Whenever I try to read and understand this paper, I feel extremely dumb. I have my degree in CS, but this is just too complex for me to understand.

Its already the case for a long time with assembly generated code. No human could recreate it. Ai code is just another abstraction on top of a layer that soon won't be touched anymore by common devs.

Just a walk in a random big city in China reveals how fast they are progressing. The speed of things changing is ridiculous. In almost every field they are getting better. And fast. Thats what you can achieve when your country has 40 years

Well if the situation happens that people can't buy food, things will easily become nasty quickly. People will break open stores and use violence to get what they need. So cash money won't really help a lot in a serious situation.

Finding good talent is hard. Spain is filled with low grade coders. A bit unrespectful, but I have experienced it already for many many years. And not only tech. Also sales etc. Quality output is hard to find there.
