Absolutely. As I mentioned, we have 150+ rooms that we chill in, and most of our day-to-day work practices are tied into chat. Mention someone's name in a room they're not present in and we send push notifications to their phone a

You bring up some good points, and we're always improving pages like these (the 404 itself has gone through a few versions this year already). I don't think the answer is forcing the canonical URL on every page request, though. I

To make it easy to read code. :) It feels pretty comfortable- squinting isn't fun. We tend to avoid user preferences. If it ends up being a problem, we'll lower the text size at some point.

For us, it made sense. Our desktop site is pretty large. Check the graph in the blog post- the mobile pages are about 1/10th the size of the desktop CSS and JavaScript. By avoiding a responsive design, we can make things load dispropor

It isn't. To both. It's a "real feature" (like everything on the site), and already there's a ton of people doing really cool things with the data. We're pretty stoked to see what new things come out of it.

A "passion project", in my mind, is simply a project that you're excited about (notably one that is likely outside the bounds of your normal, day-to-day job). I distinguish them from "side projects", which tend to be something you're intere

We pipe everything into Campfire, scoped into the relevant room (last time I checked we had about 80 separate rooms). The topical bit is important- a particular app's notifications get dumped into that app's room, for example. That means I
