I don't know about that. I've got a small network of friends still in school doing two different startups, and I enjoy talking to him about how its going, even though they are currently much more successful than I am (I wimped out and took

A quick google search has a bunch of people indicating it is "free" and I don't see much a TOS. Is there anything to prevent me from encrypting my data and using this as an tertiary backup?

So the problem with 7mbs at 50 with 20:1 over subscription rate is, your assuming the local loop is over subscribed (which if its DSL it isn't), and the last mile is frequently the most expensive component. As far as T1s go, those are a dif

Regardless of if what the author did is deserving of sympathy, I think most of us can agree that the correct course of action is fixing the security bug rather than trying to cover it up. I mean we all know how well that works.

Where are you getting this 512kbs for $50 per month from? When I do a quick back of the envelope calculation using relatively recent wholesale bandwith costs and backhaul costs I get much more reasonable numbers. Wholesale bandwidth pricing

FatELF seems like a bad idea for Linux. The "benefits" listed on http://icculus.org/fatelf/ fail to persuade me to want to pay any additional cost.

Well since the iPhone platform is similar to Apple's desktop platform, if I were Apple, before I went ahead and made concessions to Adobe I'd want to see some proof that they wouldn't mess up the user experience. So far Adobe has shown they

Personally I think this is more a case study in how not to do PR. We have a company (well city) announce they are moving to a competitors product. Do you 1)Give them a call and try and see if the relationship can be salvaged? 2)Failing that

This reminds me of a company in Ottawa that posted a job offer in the TXT records for their domain. Admittedly that company shortly later on went bankrupt in a billing dispute with Bell Canada, but still pretty cool.

You can try something like http://www.mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx , it checks a bunch of RBLs all at once.

I could be wrong, but from looking at the authors data, and the writing, it seems as if the author is "massage" his interpretation of the data to fit his hypothesis (which could very well be valid). The author suggests "You can draw a strai
