Minecraft terrain generation produces invalid states, such as empty spaces within water, where once you interact with it the boundary collapses into a valid state. I don't think Mojang planned to have those invalid states.

I carried my N3DSXL pretty much everywhere while living and working in SF. Streetpass was such a cool feature for the urban lifestyle. The 3D experience on the New model was so much better than the old ones.

I had the exact same experience and did the exact same thing. I also moved my backups from HFS+ to zfs, and got more serious about my backup strategy. If I had to start over I'd go with rustic-rs or borg backup. FWIW I do still use `tm

Tahoe has made it so I will return to this upgrade strategy. I regret upgrading to Tahoe almost every day. If nothing else, the music apps on macOS and iOS cause me almost daily headaches.

No, unfortunately it doesn't. I've also looked for a way to script this and came up empty handed. If somebody knows how to programmatically set a custom icon for an app or arbitrary file in macOS, please speak up.

I've always thought of iOS and iPadOS as appliance OSes, but macOS as the thing I retained control over. It's changes like this that are nudging me back to Linux as a daily driver for my desktop, not just for headless work.

It looks wrong because it isn't symmetrical. If you go into System Settings -> Accessibility -> Display increase your pointer size, screenshot it, and rotate it, you can see that it's not symmetrical. It looks wonky because
