Seriously? You're getting bent out of shape over this??? Despite being very likely true, the statement was funny and targeting just the right people for it to be funny.

playing to, and trying to please your audience is the kiss of death, if you write for yourself and forget how you might be seen by those reading you, your writing will improve.

I'm not sure i agree with those as examples of things google doesn't do well. Product search works great for me, as does local. Ditto for real estate search. Maybe your experience has been different, but try adding the zip code to your sear

You're claiming to do better than wolfram alpha? Are there any online demos of your technology? The better search through semantics has been thrown around for years, but so far it's never been found to beat the traditional approach. POS and

I took a quick look and still prefer Thunderbird. Over the years tb has matured enough that it's solid and reliable. All I want from my work email client. For personal stuff, I'd never consider a client, other than the browser.

Does anyone really care? Maybe the young insecure men who have grown up with hash tags and their online persona having some kind of meaning. But anyone with an ounce of confidence wouldn't care less. Women have always gossiped and always wi

Do you live in the real world? Prisons aren't safe because they are full of violent offenders! It's pretty obvious that when you densely pack the bottom tier of society into small spaces that the outcome will be a whole load of violence - o

I find myself disagreeing with all the positive feedback on the ui. I really dislike the squished view above and the anorexic view to the right. Why not use a Pinterest grid. I want to see everything at once. I can scan much faster for thin

It's pretty obvious you'd didn't consider statements like that. There are a large number of examples that make your statement of the invariance of facts absurd.

You can't blame Vimeo for you having a slow computer and a slow Internet connection. Vimeo is targeted at people who want a better quality experience than YouTube and it is assumed that you can keep up.
