Yes, some routes are dangerous, but the trucks don't need to take those initially. There's a lot of scope for a phased ramp up. A lot of I80 is really straight, same with other highways. I70 from Denver to St. Louis is incredibly

Similar old copying technology, I remember in school we had one teacher who insisted on using a spirit duplicator he’d kept. It was pretty awful quality, but kept him happy. He could write out a test then hand crank off 20 copies in a minut

I've done similar things, I think most people working long enough have. I've made it a point in teams I've run to reassure the junior staff with tales of how all the seniors have made egregious mistakes and survived to tell t

I assumed this was satire (especially the VGA port), making fun of the number of “X laptop is the best” posts which then use incredibly cherry picked and specific criteria. But it really reads like it’s genuine. Maybe a solid article that’s

iChat, Apple’s earlier messenger worked with XMPP too. There was a small period it looked like it would be a good standard app.

No, just phone autocorrect, and too late to edit it. Typing too fast and not paying attention. Although I do like your interpretation. Maybe I’ll call poorly implemented or useless functions impotent from now on.

Yes, autocorrect.

Isn’t this the fundamental point of the push for impotency in configuration management tools? You just need the state set to “good”, regardless of which bits need to change and current state. Hit the button and it makes it “good”.

I think this was true a year ago too. They peaked in 2021, were dead in 2022. For me the most impressive part is how high it peaked. This wasn’t just a flash in the pan, fleecing people for a $1000 here and there. Beeple’s $69.3M price make

I don’t enjoy the poison ivy, it’s horrific, but the showering ecstasy is really incredible. As a non-drug person it’s what I imagine some hard drug to feel like. Deeply intense, shivering, full body bliss.
