Assuming the date displayed on the page, "Jul 7 - Jul 9 2017" is correct, their countdown is off. var countdown = new Date(2017, 7, 26, 1).countdown(); should be var countdown = new Date(2017, 6, 7, 1).countdown();

There are some ballparks on their page at angel.co: https://angel.co/sendwithus Having interviewed with them a couple of years ago, I can attest that their team is incredibly nice, and the product is interesting also.

Curl gets another point for having better SNI support, as wget versions until relatively recently didn't support it. This means you can't securely download content using relatively recent (but not the newest) versions of wget (suc

Google notebook was amazing! But at the very least, they did export all notebook notes to Google docs, so it wasn't like they completely binned all user data.

I just tried out some of my favorite shortcuts I know from Sublime (I'm not saying Sublime invented these, just that I only came to know them through using it) and found them all to work: - Move lines up/down with ctrl+shift+u

Isn't this true only if the 3rd party apps are saving the data and/or redistributing it? Apps should be able to request data from reddit just as a normal user would through their browser, since reddit has permission to use (and se

I know absolute fuck-all about dart, but I do know that a programming language is just a tool. At the end of the day, a good programmer should be able to learn to use the best tool for the job, even if that tool resembles a swiss army knife

The problem is this is incompatible with the current state of the JS ecosystem. NPM packages need to follow the npm style guide (though standard appears at a glance to be closer to this than anything else). jQuery modules need to follow the

Rubocop is an absolute pleasure to work with, but it also helps that the ruby community seems to have a more widely-agreed upon style guide than other communities (Javascript comes to mind). There are similar tools for Javascript, and I ima

Your comment is one of the best deconstructions of common criticisms of the potential of MOOCs that I've read. If you pastebin it (or add it to your blog if you have one) and submit it, I think it would be worthy of its own discussion.
