See https://delta.chat/en/ - I use it for basically all email now. It is a genuine leap forward in UI.

It depends on what you use to buffer / store it, really. But generally its price per MWh is dropping as turbines get bigger, so short of any specifics in the question around the part of the mix it forms, a "yes" would seem to

There are a few I'd recommend: Loomio - this is usually for coops, especially decision making, but last I checked works well as a forum. Lemmy - federated reddit alternative. Discourse - the forum we know and love. Flarum - decent alte

I've looked at this for years, and have my (basically defunct) attempt at it over at mutual.email - the idea was customer owned email (+etc) service. The main idea was to make a service covering people's "workspace" need

I briefly thought this was about sdf.org and was very, very sad. Congrats on the exit to the sdf.com people though, and relief to the sdf.org userbase :)

I'm in this camp, perhaps a little more extreme: my daily driver laptop is a ThinkPad X230T, which I think is from 2011 or 2012. It is separate from a home lab - which I don't currently have, but which I'll use hardware from

No, the idea is that a formula would apply. The reliance on voluntarily handing over from the founders is specifically what a legislative change would alter. That's the whole point of what I'm saying.

My immediate question here is do other frequencies work? I'd quite enjoy learning that, for instance, listening to drum and bass loudly with headphones can restore memory in Alzheimer's. A touch unserious, but medically approved m

Not so: you're thinking of companies that are traded in public. I'm saying even private companies should be able to bought by their employees, at the instigation of the employees rather than the owners, and that this should apply

Investing in cooperatives isn't all that new, some sites ( https://www.ethex.org.uk/ ) have a fairly long history in it. Cooperative financing options are generally debt instruments, or forms of shares which are a kind o

Some might be, but independence is often contested and not necessarily a majority concern. Plus it'd be fairly odd to have independence then say "hey, let's let America buy us as a state"

I am so delighted to see Dillo is back and being maintained again! I was looking at it in mid 2023 and was sad to see the repo linked from the main site was dead and the general lack of activity. Off the back of this, I started looking at h

Supply is becoming secondary to credit availability and inheritance - those are what drive prices. We can now borrow more than ever, and a decisive advantage in housing is having rich parents.

Probably council housing or housing association tenants. My guess is that the person who said "rent stabilised" is American, as it is an American term - I know new yorkers in rent stabilised housing.
