If you read the Newsweek article carefully, the bioweapon claim is from Igor Konashenkov. CGTN only calls it “military biological program”. So technically not the same, but of course CGTN wants to give the same impression to keep spreading

I blindly trusted the post’s claim that “Maybe” means “the letter is in the answer but in a different position”. If you use that definition, you’ll arrive at the same conclusion. The post should be updated with the correct definition.

I agree with you. The first E gives a “Maybe” and the second E gives a “No”. A “Maybe” response gives much more information than simply “the letter is in the answer but in a different position”.
