I've always setup Windows w/o connecting it to the internet first, never had to resort to any 'tricks' to bypass the account issue.

You don't need Compass to keep the On Call Schedule, that's part of Operations which is where all the alerting stuff migrated to as well.

I'm still using the S1 app and MUCH prefer it. I did end up running a 'split system' so I could use some of the newer products but the majority of my sonos use is still with S1 and wish they all worked on it.

How does one solve for their own device management/fallback strategy? They are in an industry that is regulated to have endpoint protection. So even if they had a 1:1 DR zone they would have been running MS and CS on both, w/o saf

I don't think that running your own router fully solves this issue. I've had this disabled from day 1 of having fiber and running pfSense behind the BWG320. I also have a backup TMobile connection. When the the ATT line goes down

The issue w/ jira is usually the people running it. Jira will let you customize just about every aspect of it, this typically leads to a garbage experience.

Why not just get a travel router and be done with all the “hacks”. They are so small these days they take up very little space. With mine I get connected to hotel WiFi then all my family devices just connect to it, just like they are at hom

It wouldn't let me login the other day until I completed my signup for "hello" whatever the f-that is. I had to pull the ethernet cable THEN I could login to windows. I promptly disabled any signup that had "hello"

So the places we drive to are pretty remote and not in 'safe' spots. So I could sit at the hotel/resort and have no issues or get out on the road to the dive site. Every trip has had a story, not all good ones, but every dive

Personally I do it because it's the closest I will ever get to feeling like a space explorer. You are neutrally buoyant (weightless) completely relying on your equipment for survival and able to see places IN the earth very few people
