There was a Forbes article on HN about Chris Sacca yesterday, and he's talking about it now - https://www.periscope.tv/w/VvV_yzk2fDY0OTI3wusAmiDk5lk8euhHx... . I think it's pretty interesting, like a live AMA.

What? I never said sunsets weren't beautiful. That's why people share them. I don't think of them as just a social bridge as the previous poster, but I was merely stating that sharing them can be the biggest value seen by o

This is a pretty useless and unnecessary attack. Sunsets make up a very large percentage of Instagram, Snapchat, and FB photos shared at my university, which shows apparent social value. Sure you may appreciate the experience of watching a

While I found Thiel's recent work (Zero to One) to be extremely interesting, I am skeptical about a fair portion of it. I am much more inclined to agree with the claims in PG's startup essays, which seem to have been the cornersto

The title should be changed to reflect the purpose of the link, rather than a clickbait-y reference to your site/Zed's article. Also, Zed's article "Programmers Need To Learn Statistics Or I Will Kill Them All" has

I upvoted you because I suspect that your first two sentences are true. You completely lost me with the extraordinary causation/situation tangent, though I'm not sure if it is because I disagree with you or because I am misunderst

The startup speed is incredibly painful. That said, I absolutely love working in Atom, and I use it whenever I'm doing a substantial session of coding. For minor edits and quick referencing, I'll typically use Emacs. Then some Jet

I was pretty sketched by this when I was looking at it over the summer. I'm also curious on their reasoning. Does anyone on here use the Github integration? What do you get out of it?

A recipient could have listened. A recipient could have not listened. I still think it is dishonest when it is someone's intention to fish for agreements. I originally speculated as to whether this was the case, and he/she has sai

This is the vibe I was getting, which is unfortunate. Of course I'm only speculating. Similarly, I find it to be insanely frustrating when people ask for advice, but are not willing to listen when they get it. It feels dishonest.

I just got my haircut after listening to this, and it was creepily similar.

I'll second this. I actually use the site to view on my laptop, as well as the app.

Playing this was a mistake on my part considering I have plenty of networking HW due tomorrow, but then again looking at HN was the first mistake. Great job! It's a simple game that ended up being significantly more fun than I thought

Happy coincidence - I'm a current UCSB undergrad, and I'm taking the entrepreneurship class this Fall.

Wow this is exciting and unexpected! I am curious to see if the students who take this course end up being more likely to dropout afterwards.

Troll. Did you make the 'bigbangtheory1' account too? Congrats on getting something out. I had a similar idea that's now too far in the backlog, so hopefully you'll find use from it. It'd be awesome if I could set a

I've been wanting to look into the Scout/Skobbler SDK for a while now. I'll either be using that or Mapbox for some mobile/web apps. Do you have any insights to push me in your direction?
