Agreed. Especially when a lot of people just pick out x, y and z thing as if it's the definitive sign of AI, disregarding the possibility of it being normal outside of their own writing and what they read. Not to mention cultural diffe

Wow, that second one was just straight up mean spirited. Doesn't feel like the responder even read it, given the comment about needing a discussion at the end despite it being linked. Not even mentioning the frankly unrealistic expecta

And that's exactly why they don't do radical changes, because people hate those. They do slow, small and insidious changes over a long time period. And then it isn't as easy to simply "pick up your ball" and be on y

I'm willing to die on the hill that lego already is a commonplace word, but I can't argue that they've held on to the LEGO trademark for pretty long. Though, I'd say Nintendo is a lot worse than LEGO, and I've never

Well, as a "genuine" user, you'll never get so far as to get feedback since I'm (and likely others too) not going to bother with a tool that I can't even test its authenticity, correctness or usefulness of over know

Do you know of something that's good for what people tend to misuse Git submodules for? A multi-repo workspace thingamajig.

You know, reading through your replies in this thread is kind of just sad. You selectively pick only tiny parts of comments to reply to, while ignoring the points that are made and the plethora of very, very common issues highlighted. Sadly

I agree, but I also really like the pie menus. Personally, I'd like the ability to simply write to match, but otherwise working as demonstrated. E.g. like the Windows search works when you've hidden the search bar. I'd prefer

Nay, even commenting is often pointless. HN likes to overly articulate drivel more often than not. Indeed, even this very comment is pointless, because what does it really add but another section in another chain of pointless drivel? Social

Not to mention, at least where I live, it'd be illegal to train a model on actual, real media representing such cases that would let the model have a greater confidence rating in contextualizing which are or aren't actual child po

For example, Breath of the Wild has a quest-line featuring two NPCs sending love letters via a river, and you can help then get together or something. Only issue is that it's hella creepy in the English translation, while it's muc

Name them, then. I do like Rust, but I've only come across a few "higher profile ish" projects. None were really that important or useful that I actually bothered to remember them.

I will agree that it is big yikes. But I will, at least kind of, agree that you are more likely to meet more arm chair scientists than you are scientists and actual field experts online in this fashion. Though, obviously, there are actual s

Free will hasn't been disproven either. It's up in the air how much is undetermined, and how to define being "schakled" in the context of no free will. Even if we are affected by ourself and others, that does not prove a
